Notes The mapping software used is a combination of MySQL, PHP4 and SVG (Scaleable Vector Graphics). At present, a special viewer is needed to display SVG, as this is a relatively new WWW standard. Version 3 of the Adobe SVG Viewer can be downloaded directly from Adobe - Version 2 is included in Adobe Acrobat Reader 5 (also a free download). The viewer works well with Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox.
Selecting the interactive grid option will increase the size of the map download by 300Kb, but provides feedback on the UTM square under the cursor. Use this option if you have a fairly fast internet connection (anything except a modem).
